New Year’s Eve Parties for Adults at Northern Michigan Resorts

From a gourmet nine-course meal, champagne toasts and jazz bands, to dance parties and fireworks, these New Year’s Eve parties are bringing in 2018 in style. Start the year with a Northern Michigan vacation to your favorite Up North resort.


Grand Traverse Resort | Acme

Start the evening with a New Year’s Eve dinner at Aerie Restaurant then head to the ballroom for an exclusive party for resort guests and club members. Children ages 6–12 are invited to the kids’ party with activities like karaoke, dodgeball, swimming, and movies, plus a kid-friendly meal of chicken tenders, corn dogs, mac ‘n cheese, and cupcakes. Advance registration is required for the kids’ party and closes at 5 p.m. on December 15.

Schuss Village
The Rock Show will rock in the new year on the stage at Ivan’s starting at 9 p.m. This returning Journey cover band performs all your favorite hits. 21 and over only. $10 cover at the door, no reservations required.

Cedar River Village
Relax at The River Bistro while you watch the Times Square show and celebrate with friends around eight big screen TVs. The game room features pool tables, darts, foosball, air hockey, and Golden Tee. Dinner will be served from 5–11 p.m.

Boyne Mountain | Boyne Falls

There are endless possibilities at Boyne Mountain. Ring in the New Year the old-fashioned way at a New Year’s Eve dinner party with jazz entertainment. Or cheer on your favorite college football team at the Fiesta Bowl Party. A torchlight parade and fireworks extravaganza can be viewed from the base of the mountain, and DJ Luke G of A+ Event Entertainment will carry you through the night at the family dance party.
