Race through Leelanau County’s vineyards in the Harvest Stompede, a 7-mile run or 5K run/walk, then relax and enjoy local wine and food at 23 participating wineries along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail.

The two-day Harvest Stompede Wine Tour starts Saturday, September 9 immediately following the race (register for the race here). The self-guided wine tour runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets cost $40 and include a souvenir wine glass and a special wine pour and food pairing at each of the 23 wineries. (Tickets do NOT include race registration.)

To highlight the region’s restaurants and farmers, each winery will be featuring local ingredients in their food pairings. Sundried tomato brie mac-n-cheese, Asian pulled pork lettuce wraps, and peach crisp with maple cream sauce are just a few of the dishes on the menu. See the full menu here.

Harvest Stompede tickets are available at MyNorthTickets.com.
