Northern Michigan Fourth of July Parades 2017

What better way to spend a Northern Michigan vacation than with a Northern Michigan Fourth of July parade? No matter where you are, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a good old-fashioned Independence Day parade.

This year’s parade theme is: The land of the Free and the home of the Brave! Celebrate with Leland this Independence Day weekend. Decorate your bike and enjoy a concert on the lawn before the parade kicks off at 3 p.m. Click for more information.

Harbor Springs

Harbor Springs is home to one of Northern Michigan’s most popular Fourth of July ceremonies. People from all over the area join Harbor Springs residents as they march a full circle around town. The parade covers the city’s main streets, allowing viewers to enjoy the spectacle from the sidewalks. The event starts at 1 p.m. Click for more information.

Join Frankfort for a boisterous Independence Day celebration that starts early and continues all day and night. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on Frankfort’s Main Street. Other festivities in the city include an Art in the Park activity, a carnival, a sand castle sculpture contest, and fireworks at dusk. Click for more information.
