THOMPSONVILLEMichigan Legacy Art Park is offering guided snowshoe tours on Sunday afternoons this winter, from January 8 through January 29. Winter tours are a great way to experience the hike and discover a fresh perspective on the art.

The January 29 tour will be led by special guest guides: Aimé Merizon of the Benzie Conservation District; Kama Ross, regional forester; and Linda Thomasma, wildlife biologist. These expert nature guides will demonstrate tree identification and animal tracking for more ways visitors can enhance their Art Park experience.

Meet at the Art Park trailhead at 2:30 p.m., and be prepared for current winter conditions. Tours last about an hour and a half.

Fee: $5 per adult. Reservations are not required. Complimentary for youth 17 and under with paying adult.
