October 14: 10th Annual Suttons Bay Art and Wine Walk – Visit shops, meet award-winning local artists and sample Leelanau County wines. A walking guide includes names of participating merchants, along with the artist they are hosting and a winery if they choose to sponsor one. The guide is stamped after visiting each store, and at the end of the evening, leave your card with one of the merchants to be entered to win a $250 Village Shopping Spree, 5-8 p.m., 231.271.5077.

October 14-16: 38th Annual Charlevoix Apple Festival – Many local apple orchards will be participating in the celebration! Activities for the entire family, including an art & craft show, fall farmer’s market, food booths, a petting zoo, face painting and miniature trains provided by Castle Farms. October 14-16: Women’s Wellness & A Wee Bit ‘O Wine Weekend – This is a weekend for women to celebrate friendships, health, shopping and of course …  enjoy a little wine. Enjoy a local art show, captivating wellness seminars, yoga, spa treatments, great food, fabulous shopping and more. October 15Northern Home & Cottage Kitchen and Home Tour – The 2016 Northern Home & Cottage Kitchen & Home Tour October treats you to homes chosen for their distinctive style and/or innovative lifestyle concept in the Charlevoix and Petoskey area. Fabulous kitchens and homes, Northern Michigan’s fall colors and plenty of dining options along the way. October 15-16: Punkin’ Chunkin’ – Fun for all! Pitch pumpkins from a catapult and then shoot at them in flight with an apple cannon. Pick pumpkins in the patch and have cider at the pavilion.
