The Ragbirds rarely sit still. Over the years, they have touched a broad audience, stretching from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Osaka, Japan (where they scored a successful pop hit) and places in between. On August 28, the innovative group will take the stage at a Fountain Point Resort event in Lake Leelanau.
The Ragbirds have developed a reputation as one of the most dynamic bands in roots music with a cultivated worldly style full of global rhythms and trans-genre, indie-pop melodies. This style is just as versatile to the concert scene as it is to the band’s wide range of listeners. They’ve played in festivals devoted to everything from bluegrass to electronica.
