The Ragbirds rarely sit still. Over the years, they have touched a broad audience, stretching from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Osaka, Japan (where they scored a successful pop hit) and places in between. On August 28, the innovative group will take the stage at a Fountain Point Resort event in Lake Leelanau.

The Ragbirds have developed a reputation as one of the most dynamic bands in roots music with a cultivated worldly style full of global rhythms and trans-genre, indie-pop melodies. This style is just as versatile to the concert scene as it is to the band’s wide range of listeners. They’ve played in festivals devoted to everything from bluegrass to electronica. Their performance at Fountain Point Resort is highly anticipated.

Along with hosting several big-name musicians and bands over the years, Fountain Point Resort is a popular destination for wine lovers, golfers, and tennis players. Among other attractions at the resort is a recently introduced water taxi concierge service that’s free to guests. Check it out for yourself in this MyNorth video.

Tickets to The Ragbirds cost $20 (youth 15 and under free). Available at
