On July 24, acclaimed singer-songwriter Rachel B is performing at Sonic Bloom Multimedia Studio. Having just performed at the National Cherry Festival, Rachel B is returning to Traverse City to bring her special brand of “soulful empowerment pop.” With an intimate setting in Sonic Bloom studios and the help of Rachel’s backing band, The Boys, this Northern Michigan music event promises to be unforgettable.
Rachel B was born in Traverse City and is an alum of the Interlochen Arts Academy. Her cool blend of pop, soul, jazz, and classical influences has gained her popularity all over the United States. She has been featured on NPR, and her music has been used in TV shows like ABC’s General Hospital. Rachel released her debut album, I’m the Boss, back in March, and has been touring all year in promotion of the LP.
The show starts at 8 p.m, but doors open an hour early. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
