The 35th Annual Cedar Polka Fest kicks off on Thursday, June 30 in Cedar. A weekend of continuous music, dancing, local food and beverage, and Northern Michigan celebration will ensue and carry on from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The weekend’s music shows will feature 2 Ol’ Broads & 3 Buddies, Box On Band, New Brass Express, Rodney Beyers and his pals, and Diddle Styx. The bands will perform under the big tent and beside a large wooden dance floor, perfectly suited for dance just as lively and dynamic as the event’s music.
Tickets are $10 per person for the Cedar Polka Festival. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by a parent. No person under the age of 21 will be admitted after 8 p.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent.
