A new Traverse City comedy event promises an evening of hearty laughs. The Laughs and Drafts comedy festival is debutingĀ in Traverse City, featuring severalĀ internationally-renowned comedians and someĀ delicious local beer and wine. Learn more about the Northern Michigan eventĀ below.

Laughs and Drafts is a not-for-profit comedy festival that combines craft beer, local wine, music andĀ stand-up comedy. This zero waste event benefits Bay Area Recycling for Charities and their Focus Green 2020 campaign, which is a mission to make Traverse City the greenest city in Michigan by 2020. The eventĀ will take place at the Grand Traverse Civic Center on June 4 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Laughs and DraftsĀ includes two stand-up comedy shows and live music intermissions.Ā Comedians performing include: Mike Stanley (Winner Best of Midwest Gilda’s Laughfest); Floyd Phillips (Winner Seattle International Comedy Competition, Finalist in both Boston Comedy Fest & San Francisco Comedy Fest); Bill Bushart (Oddball Comedy Fest); Adam Degl (Winner Funniest Person Grand Rapids); Nate Armbruster (World Series of Comedy, Laughfest).

Tickets are $20 in advance and include a commemorative glass and one drink ticket equal to one glass of beer or wine.
