Golden Globe and Academy Award-winner Buffy Sainte-Marie will soon be performing a Traverse City event. Her rare solo performance at the Dennos Museum Center’s Milliken Auditorium takes place May 3 from 8 p.m to 10 p.m.
Known for her “Universal Soldier” anthem of the peace movement, stellar songwriting, and being a five-year cast member of Sesame Street, the iconic artist has many memorable music endeavors. Buffy Sainte-Marie has continued to explore her own heritage musically and has remained a legendary figure in the Native American community, bringing her to her current tour in Canada and the U.S.
Tickets to her Traverse City event cost $27 for members, $30 in advance, and $35 at the door (additional fees apply).
