We all know that Northern Michigan is amazing. To us, that’s just a well-known fact. And while our beautiful beaches, enticing towns, and friendly folks are already making other states jealous, we sure don’t mind adding badges of honor to show off our Northern Michigan pride, now do we? So what do you say? Want to help add a few more top titles to our name?
Right now there are several ways to vote Northern Michigan and show off your pride with just a few clicks of the mouse.
- Traverse City is in the running for “Greatest Midwest Town” by Midwest Living magazine. Make sure T.C. is crowned the favorite by voting once a day until February 29 here. They’ll be announcing the winner in their July/August issue. Update, Traverse City won!
- USA Today 10 Best is in search of the nation’s best beaches. Are you surprised that of the 20 nominated freshwater sandy spots, five of them are in Northern Michigan? We’re not! Vote daily until March 14.
- USA Today is also looking for the best flower festival. And, of course, Mackinac Island’s Lilac Festival is one of the 20 nominations! Vote once per day now through March 28.
- Don’t forget the contest that is only about Northern Michigan’s best! The polls are open and thousands of votes are being cast for our 2016 Red Hot Best. Make sure your voice is heard on the area’s best burger, ski run, beer and more on MyNorth.com through March 15.
