Northern Michigan youth are taking the stage to showcase their ballet talents with a Western twist on February 27. The “Song of Wyoming” Traverse City ballet event features dancers from the Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre, bringing classic TV and film Westerns of the ’50s and ’60s to life.
From classic characters of cowgirls and cowboys, to scenes of romance and a wild barroom brawl, “Song of Wyoming” has it all. Shows take place on Saturday, February 27 at the Milliken Auditorium in the Dennos Museum at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets to the Traverse City ballet cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
