February 20 – March 22: Full STEAM Ahead Exhibition is on display at the Crooked Tree Arts Center Atrium Gallery in Petoskey. Witness the problem solving, critical thinking and beauty that happens when STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) meets the arts. All work provided by the art facility at North Central Michigan College.
February 27: Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre presents the Western-themed The Song of Wyoming at the Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City. It showcases the talent of Ballet Etc. company members as they bring music from classic film and television of the 50s and 60s to life. February 27: Restaurant Week in downtown Traverse City wraps up today. Amazing three-course meals for $25 per person!
February 27: Boyne Highlands turns PINK for breast cancer awareness. Proceeds from the event benefit two non-profit organizations, including Boarding for Breast Cancer. Festive ski and boarding activities, auction, live music and dancing.
February 28: An unflinching look at the lives of Marines getting ready for and returning from deployment, ReENTRY is a docudrama exploration of the challenges faced by soldiers and their families when re-entering community and country. Honest, moving and surprisingly funny, this play is based entirely on interviews with Marines and their families. See it at the City Opera House in Traverse City.
