PETOSKEY: Beginning Saturday, December 12, the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey will be showcasing the work of 40 painters who belong to four major painting groups from the Northern Michigan area. The Northern Michigan art display will encompass over 80 paintings, many of which will be for sale. Artists from the following groups will be represented:

The exhibit, Painters Unite, will be on display until Monday, January 4, 2016, in the Bonfield and Gilbert Galleries. Paintings in a variety of sizes, media, and styles, from a wide spectrum of artists, will be showcased during this festive time of year. The opening reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 12.

CTAC–Petoskey will close on Tuesday, December 22 at 5 p.m., and will reopen after the holidays on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 9 a.m.

CTAC will be open for the ninth annual New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center which will take place on Thursday, December 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. This ever-popular event will provide another opportunity for families and community members to view the Painters Unite exhibition.
