Help the Northern Michigan nonprofit AC PAW keep dogs warm this winter! They are holding their 2nd Annual AC PAW Dog House Collection for new/used dog houses, as well as pet food, beds, leashes, collars and more (see the full list here). The dog house collection event will take place on Wednesday, December 30 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Alden Bar & Grille in Antrim County’s Alden.
Over the last 20 years hundreds of dog houses (half built/half donated) have been donated for the use of needy dogs that are outside during the winter months and need shelter. Anything from plastic igloo houses to custom-made wooden houses will be accepted.
AC PAW founders Brian and June will be on hand all day to accept donations and to answer questions about volunteer opportunities, foster care, placement, dog housing project programs and more.
