Kick off the 2015 holiday season with friends and family at the Hagerty Center with the Zonta Club of Traverse City. The Zonta Club—an organization supporting the growth of women and children through service and advocacy—is hosting a “Festival of Trees” weekend of events November 20 through 22. Funds raised will be reinvested throughout the Grand Traverse County community via grants and scholarships.

Here’s a list of each Zonta Club Traverse City event:

Zonta Club of TC Charcuterie Dinner

Friday, November 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Zonta is partnering with the students of the NMC Culinary Arts Program for this premier event. Indulge in a variety of meats and cheeses, and dessert will include house made ice cream! Tickets are $35 and includes entry to the Festival of Trees.

Zonta Club of TC Father Daughter Dinner Dance

Saturday, November 21 from 5 to 10 p.m.

The Father Daughter Dance is a magical evening that celebrates the special bond fathers and grandfathers have with their daughters and granddaughters of all ages. The event includes dinner, dancing, a professional photograph, and a craft activity to take home. Tickets to this Traverse City event are $50 and include entry to the Festival of Trees.

The Festival of Trees

Saturday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. & Sunday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Zonta Club’s signature event features a display of professionally decorated trees and school trees to fulfill your holiday hearts. Most trees will be available for purchase along with lovely items of home décor, wreaths, gift baskets, and other holiday accessories. On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Santa’s Workshop will be available with children’s activities and special appearances from Mr. Claus himself! General admission tickets are $8; students cost $4; and children under 4 are free.
