Watch one of the greatest classic Christmas tales come to life as members of the Little Traverse Civic Theatre perform “A Christmas Story” at the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey.
“A Christmas Story” is the comedy gift you will cherish all holiday season! Set in the Midwest during the 1940s, a young boy named Ralphie has one wish for a Christmas—a Red Ryder BB Gun. All the elements from the beloved motion picture are here, including the family’s temperamental exploding furnace, the school bully Scut Farkas, an experiment gone wrong with a wet tongue and a cold lamppost, and, of course, the infamous lamp. The show is a perfect treat for the Northern Michigan holidays!
Performances will start Thursday, December 10 and end on Saturday, December 19. Ticket prices are $17 for adults and $12 for children (ages 12 and under).
