The popular 4-H Ski & Snowboard Program is a fantastic opportunity for youth in grades 1 to 12 to learn to ski or snowboard at the Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor. The lessons begin Sunday, January 10 and go from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Registrations are due by Monday, December 14.

Registration is a two-step process: First, register for “Downhill 4-H Ski Club” online at mi.4honline.com. Second, complete a student information form and mail it with full payment to “Leelanau 4-H,” (address is on the form). Or, register at the MSU Extension Office located at 8527 E. Government Center Dr., Suttons Bay. Registration must be postmarked no later than December 14. Confirmation will be sent the last week of December.

  • Lessons cost $80 ($70 for 4-H Club Members)
  • Lessons plus either a Lift Ticket OR Equipment Rental cost $117 ($107 for 4-H Club Members)
