OLD MISSION PENINSULA, TRAVERSE CITY: A Northern Michigan winery on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Bowers Harbor Vineyards recently won Chairmans Best of Class at the 21st Long Beach Grand Cru Wine Competition. The award was given for two of their wines, the 2014 Block II & Langley Riesling and 2014 Medium Dry Riesling. The competition was held this year in California on July 18th & 19th. This is the second year that one or more of the Bowers Harbor Vineywards wines have been awarded with the Chairmans Best of Class honor.

Considered one of the top international wine competitions in the United States, the 2015 Long Beach Grand Cru featured wines from over 23 states and 13 countries.

In addition to winning Chairmans Best of Class for two of our wines, the 2014 Medium Sweet Riesling was honored with a GOLD medal.
