Looking for some musical fun around Traverse City in November? Traverse City Central High School’s Music Department is presenting the heartwarming family favorite, The Music Man.

There’s trouble in River City, my friends, and mysterious newcomer in town Professor Harold Hill has the solution – he’ll save the town’s youth from corruption by organizing them into a marching band. But Marian the Librarian sees through his schemes. Can she resist the irrepressible con artist’s charms? Can he make good on his promise, despite knowing nothing about music? This delightfully fun story overflows with cheery music, including the songs “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Ya Got Trouble,” “Till There Was You” and “Goodnight, My Someone.”

This show opens Thursday, November 13 and runs through Sunday, November 23. See the Black Cast, the Gold Cast or both!
