The Bell’s Beer Iceman Cometh Challenge is an annual 30 mile mountain biking race from Kalkaska to Traverse City. This year’s 27th annual event takes place on Saturday, November 5, 2016.

If you are headed to Northern Michigan for the Iceman (Second Place in Traverse Magazine’s Red Hot Best award for Endurance Events!) and don’t know where to start looking for lodging or places to eat, we have compiled a resource guide for you.

There are plenty of places to stay in Traverse City, but to look for your perfect location on the water, in downtown, with the kids and more check out the Hotels & Cottage Rentals guide.
