Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City is hosting a collection of 39 one-day cooking classes that combine global cuisines, award-winning chefs and innovative cooking techniques. New classes begin each week, September through December.
Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while learning to prepare menu items as varied as scones, fish, gnocchi, vegan cheese and pie. World cuisine classes include Traditional Dishes of Turkey, A Taste of Korea, Moroccan Sampler, Sushi Rolls and more.
Taught by local chefs and food aficionados in a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, each culinary adventure features great techniques, tasty recipes, and plenty of sampling. Costs range from $49 to $89 for a 2 to 4 hour hands-on experience.
