The third annual Hops & Props Festival is slated for September 12th-14th in downtown Manistee. There is a lot packed into this weekend and it all begins on Friday September 12th at the Boathouse Grill for the Kickoff Party.
The “props” part of the festival is highlighted on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm during the boat show where both classic and new boats will be on display. There are also plenty of chances to sample beer including a Michigan Beer Movie at the Vogue Theatre, Michigan Craft Beer tasting, and a “Tap Takeover” which features a wide variety of Michigan beers. An art fair and live music are also part of the festivities.
After all the beer sampling is done, end the weekend right with a special “Boaters Brunch” at the Ramsdell Inn on Sunday.
