Hit the trails on Friday, April 11th and Saturday the 12th at the Traverse City Trail Running Festival!

The Traverse City Trail Running Festival will feature two days of distance racing: a two-person 10k relay and free kids’ race will occur on Friday evening, and individual 10k, 25k and 50k races will begin on Saturday morning.  With a range of distances spanning 5 to 50 kilometers, the Traverse City Trail Running Festival is an event open to runners of all abilities.

The races will chart the trails of the Pere Marquette Forest, with all races beginning and ending at Timber Ridge Resort near Traverse City.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each race category at a post-race celebration, which will feature beverages from Short’s Brewing Company.   The event is produced by Endurance Evolution, a Traverse City based company to be featured in the May edition of Traverse, Northern Michigan’s Magazine.
