Shanty Creek Resort hosts MXR Snocross Race at Summit Mountain on January 11, 2014. Watch as Summit Mountain is transformed into a spectacular snocross course for this two-day event, with multi-lap heats, and the Saturday Night Shootout which showcases the best of the best against each other. $10 admission.
Snocross is racing sport, derived motocross, involving racing challenging courses and speeds of up to 60 miles per hour. Snocross became an event at the X Games in 1998.
