Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 18th, at 9:00am for the fourth annual Tails to Trails, a four paw 5K on the scenic Vasa Pathway in Traverse City for dogs and their owners. It is a unique opportunity to mingle with other dog owners and enjoy a fun run or walk with your canine friend.
- Dogs will receive a goodie bag with treats and promotional dog items.
- Pets and Peeps Photography will be taking complimentary professional photos that can be downloaded after the event.
- Prizes for top finishing owners and dogs from D.O.G. Bakery, plus other great prizes from local pet friendly businesses will be given away.
- All proceeds from Tails to Trails benefit TART Trails, Inc.
There are many walking and running events in the area, but Tails to Trails is unique because it is specifically for dog lovers and their four-pawed friends. To register, visit traversetrails.org or stop by the TART Trails office at 415 S Union Street in Old Town. Pre-registration is only $15.00 for individuals and $25.00 for families through May 17th. Day-of-event registration will be $20.00 and $30.00, respectively. Day-of registration opens at 8:00am, with the fun run/walk starting at 9:00am. Pets must be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for picking up after their pets. This is not a professionally timed event, but there will be a race clock.
