Northern Michigan Home & Cottage: To celebrate their upcoming 10-year business anniversary, Kitchen Choreography hosts an open house party Friday, May 3rd from 2-5pm. Join in the festivities at their new showroom on the former state hospital grounds at 420 S. Division St. in Traverse City.
Food, refreshments and tours of the recently restored historic home will be offered.
Kitchen Choreography was opened in April of 2003 by husband and wife team, Mike and Angela Goodall. The dynamic duo has steadily grown the business over the last then years by establishing themselves as the top design firm for any home project in Northern Michigan. They relocated their showroom and offices to the former Steward’s Residence in July 2012. It was their passion for renovation and restoration that prompted them to look at the home. The Goodall’s gently restored the 3500 square foot structure that is known today as Building 79 to the Grand Traverse Commons principals. Along with each existing room of the house, the Goodall’s enhanced the work space by adding a sun room and back deck, all the while maintaining the historical integrity of the more than 100 year old home (constructed in 1896).
“The decision to relocate and take on a project of this size was equally important to us as a business and personal choice. This is a unique property to our community and a home worth renovating. We were able to increase the overall square footage of our showroom while providing a cozy welcoming environment for our clients and staff,” says Angela.
For a decade now, the Kitchen Choreography team of in-house designers, project managers and installation crews has been dedicated to excellence in kitchen and bath design and redesign throughout Northern Michigan. Owners Mike and Angela Goodall are looking forward to the next ten!
