Habitat Women Build Day: An Interior Paint Blitz
Saturday, April 13, 2013: Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity and the Professional Women in Building Council of the Little Traverse Association of Home Builders invites area professional women working in the building industry, as well as women volunteers to participate. The project takes place at the ?Downtown Alanson Build Site and is sponsored in part by Lowe's Petoskey, who will provide on-site painting workshops for the Women Build Day and Jimmy Johns of Petoskey, who will provide lunch for all volunteers! Airport After Hours
Thursday, April 25, 2013: The Annual Airport After Hours hosted by the Air Service Task Force will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pellston Regional Airport. Come and enjoy some great regional networking and delicious food provided by Hoppies Landing. One lucky attendee will win round trip air fare for two to Chicago courtesy of Lakeshore Express. Admission is $7.00/person and proceeds will support the work of the Air Service Task Force, a business advocacy group comprised of representatives from the chambers of commerce and visitors bureau of St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Indian River, and Petoskey. Please note, since this is a fundraiser for the Air Service Task Force, passes or entry cards from individual chambers will not be accepted.
