Traverse City Earth Day Parade

Sat., April 20, The Earth Day Parade line-up begins at Oryana at 11:30am. Look for motorized vehicle advice/parking and shuttle bus info to be posted. The parade begins it’s procession at 12:30pm, and ends back at Oryana.

Green Elk Rapids Day Reception/Fundraiser

Sun., April 21, Enjoy local beverages, local hor d’oeuvres and local talent while learning how to make Elk Rapids more green! It all happens at the Blue Heron Gallery in Elk Rapids, 3-5pm.

Raven Hill Discovery Center

Sun., April 21, A family event with activities focusing on protecting Mother Earth at the Raven Hill Disovery Center, 12 pm. East Jordan.

Beach Cleanups

Feel good this Earth Day by joining in the beach cleanup fun! You can help in Suttons Bay or Traverse City. Here’s the scoop:

Sat., April 20,  1-3 pm, meet at Inland Seas parking lot, 100 Dame St., Suttons Bay; sign up with Emily at eshaw@schoolship.or

Sun., April 21, 1-3 pm, meet at downtown Farmer’s Market parking lot in Traverse City; sign up with Maureen at mmcmanus@gtbay.org

Plastic gloves, trash bags and a super groovy tally sheet will be provided. Thank you for keeping our beaches healthy and safe!?

Schulz Preserve & Taylor-Horton Creek Preserve Trail Work

Sat., April 20, 9am-3pm, Please be prepared with work gloves and any trail clearing tools you may have on hand —but make sure they are well-labeled with your name.
