Northern Michigan Events: Elk Rapids Harbor Days Annual Button Contest

Northern Michigan Events: The Elk Rapids Harbor Days Association announces the annual Harbor Days button contest. The winning design is reproduced on buttons that are available for purchase during Harbor Days and are considered the official admission for many celebratory events. Last year the winning entry was selected from more than 320 entries! Guidelines are below:

• The contest is open to anyone.
• Entry deadline is noon on April 22, 2013. Entries must be submitted at the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce at 305 US 31 North, Elk Rapids, Michigan, or received by April 22 at Elk Rapids Harbor Days Association, PO Box 801, Elk Rapids, MI 49629.
• Entry forms and more information are available at the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce or at elkrapidsharbordays.org.
• There is no limit to the number of entries one person may submit.
• The Harbor Days Steering Committee will select the winning entry. Non-winning entries are available for pick up at the Chamber building after May 15, 2013.

Button sales support events during Harbor Days, such as the parade, fireworks and other favorite activities. Help Harbor Days celebrate 58 years as one of Northern Michigan’s favorite small town festivals! This year's Harbor Days is July 31-August 3. See you there!
