Northern Michigan Events: Downtown Boyne City is sugar-coated in sweetness this Valentine's Day weekend. Chocolate-Covered Boyne will celebrate chocolate and romance at more than 30 downtown businesses. Organizers expect that this year's fifth annual event will be sweeter and livelier than ever.
A combined chocolate/Valentine theme with tastings (food and drink); chocolate treats and goodies; special chocolate desserts; displays of romantic novels and cookbooks featuring chocolate; a love song fest with dinner, chocolate themed gifts, a sale on chocolate-colored clothing. The library hosts a book sale and children’s story hour. Demonstrations with chocolate throughout the weekend.
The Valentines themed fun begins today, Friday February 8th and continues through Saturday February 9th.

Saturday night Valentine's Special: eat for $20. Choice of two dinner buffets, including salad, soup, pizza, breadsticks, and pasta plus two small drinks; OR, one medium item pizza, one order breadsticks, two small drinks and two chocolate-covered strawberries on the side. Optional: dinner by candlelight.
