"Imagine Blue Man Group expanding its roster, developing the ability to harmonize and turning from blue to white. That, in essence, is ‘Voca People,’ about an intergalactic singing group." – NY Post
From the producers of The Aluminum Show (which performed to a sold out City Opera House in February 2011), this dynamic, intergalactic musical theatre experience bridges languages, cultures . . .and planets! The premise of the show being that these eight “Vocal Acrobats” from planet Voca have landed on Earth but cannot get back home until their ship is re-charged with musical energy. With the help of the audience, the Voca People learn about the music on planet Earth and our able to bring their ship back to life. This purely vocal performance interspersed with “Chaplin-esque” physical comedy will send you into orbit and leave you grinning from ear-to-ear!
City Opera House is located at 106 E. Front St, Traverse City, MI 49684
