Traverse City Events: A series of events celebrating the ideals of tolerance, diversity and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. himself takes place throughout the Grand Traverse region from January 13 to March 3.
The series, "Embrace The Dream," represents an unprecedented collaboration of local organizations and venues working together to herald Black History Month, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the rights and respect of all. The events include live music and stage performances, interactive exhibits, films, fine art and more.
Virtually all events are free and open to the public, including free weekend admission (including MLK Day) to the Dennos Museum Center.
