Northern Michigan Attractions: The New Year brings fabulous news for Northern Michigan! Thanks to the generosity of 573 families and individuals, fundraising goals to preserve Clay Cliffs has officially been met. In a newsletter update, conservancy directors Brian Price and Ann Shoup write "It has been so exciting to experience your overwhelming support and to know that we are now in the position to protect this spectacular property for all time. And while we can’t be certain when Leland Township and the State will complete this transaction, we are hopeful that we will open a trail for you in the fall!”
