Northern Michigan Events: The holiday season gets a proper kick-off at Crystal Mountain’s Reconnect Weekend, November 22-25, 2012.  It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the season with friends and family at Crystal Mountain.

The weekend begins with the Turkey Vulture Trot 5K Thursday morning (be sure to collect your MyGo Points).  A full and festive Thanksgiving Day Buffet follows Thursday afternoon.  Crystal is also happy to prepare a full Thanksgiving Day feast and deliver it to your condo!

Friday is Crystal Mountain’s fourth annual Holiday Trails Celebration complete with special events, great deals at Peak Fitness Center and Crystal Spa (a chance to reconnect with yourself) and fun for the whole family.  Also, Friday is your chance to get all the gear you need for the upcoming winter season at the annual ski and snowboard sale at the Kinlochen Shop and Mountain Sports—the sale continues Saturday and Sunday.

Crystal’s First Light Celebration begins Saturday with a bonfire, holiday carols, hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows, and the traditional tree lighting happens at 5:30 p.m. sharp.

The weekend also offers a chance to pick up a season pass for the 2012/2013 ski season.  The price will be rolled-back to $299 during Crystal’s Reconnect Weekend.

To help spread the holiday spirit, each person who donates a new or gently used winter coat at Crystal’s Mountain Sports Shop during the Holiday Trail Celebration will receive $5 off the cost of a 9am-9pm lift ticket. The Coats will be given to Mrs. Mullen’s Closet—an effort to provide needed clothing to school-aged kids in Benzie County.
