Traverse City: A new lounge (thanks to a recently acquired liquor license) is keeping things hopping at the eclectic 7-year-old Inside Out Gallery in Traverse City’s Warehouse District. “Our little lounge area is called Outré Lounge, and we’re specializing in cocktails,” says owner Mike Curths. “We have a Bloody Mary brunch on Sundays.” Inside Out, housed in an old furniture warehouse, continues to offer an array of musical performances and works of art. On tap for this fall: Happy Funtime Burlesque (September 7); a melodic rock concert featuring bands Medicinal Groove, Galactic Sherpas and North Shore (September 14); and comedy improv Gutter Snipe Theater (September 21). “We also have a lot of music in the gallery area during the week,” Curths says. Hours vary: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. 231.929.3254, insideoutarttc.com.
