Northern Michigan Events:  Northern Michigan car enthusiasts have been waiting for the The Twin Bay British Car Club, which will be hosting the annual Alden Classics Sports Car Show, August  11-12 2012, to announce this year's feature automobile. They won't be disappointed–this year the Triumph Spitfire, which recently turned 50, has been selected to be the featured marque for the show.

The show will be held on August 11-12, 2012, in the picturesque village of Alden, Michigan, on the shores of Torch Lake. Taking advantage of their Northern Michigan location, the Twin Bay British Car Club sponsors a picnic and tour around the lake on Saturday afternoon, August 11, 2012.

The show is open to all makes and models of sports cars, and feature cars from Italy, Japan, Germany, England, France, and the USA. Entrants must be factory-produced, no replicas, hot rods, sedans, or trucks. Sports cars, only.

The car show begins with registration at 9 am on Aug. 12th, 2012. Awards are at 3 pm.
