Traverse City Kids: Get the children in your life excited about science, especially all the natural science that surrounds us in Northern Michigan. The Great Lakes Children's Museum, located on M-22 on the outskirts of Traverse City, is offering "Mad Science Mondays" as part of their summer programs. Every Monday beginning June 18, they will host fun science-related activities from 1-3 p.m. For older children, the activities tend to be more hands on, while younger scientists are encouraged to bring an adult lab assistant.
