Northern Michigan Events: The Bay View Music Festival kicks off this week, beginning their nine full weeks of spectacular musical performances on the shores of Lake Michigan. Located in Bay View, Michigan, the festival runs from June 12-August 12, 2012. This Wednesday, June 13 Bay View is presenting The Robards/Patterson Piano Duo, at 8 p.m. in the John M. Hall Auditorium.
A husband and wife musical team, Robards and Patterson will be performing a wide range of musical styles. Tony Patterson, now a faculty member at the Bay View Conservatory, has been playing piano since the age of three. Casey Robards is a chamber musician, pianist and vocal coach at the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University. Together they promise a lively and deeply entertaining performance!
