Northern Michigan Events: Spend Saturday in beautiful Petoskey, north of Traverse City, supporting the Historical Society and Museum and taking part in Northern Michigan festivities. The 32nd Annual Historic Festival and Taste of the North has amped up this year's festival, the primary fundraiser for the Historical Society and Museum. Check it out this Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Little Traverse History Museum at Bayfront Park in Petoskey.
The Historic Festival has added longer hours, a music tent, and beer and wine for the 2012 year, offering wonderful activities, entertainment and taste sensations from Northern Michigan restaurants, Northern Michigan wineries and Northern Michigan breweries for the entire community.
