Northern Michigan Attractions: On Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6-9 p.m., downtown Petoskey rolls out its sidewalks for its annual Art Walk. In its 13th year, this evening of art and entertainment has become one of Petoskey's favorite traditions. The event features open houses at local galleries, often with artists on hand to discuss their work.
Additionally, attendees will have the chance to take art home with them at the drawing held during the After Glow party. Each gallery visited earns a "dot" on the provided walking maps, and each dot earns another ticket for the drawing. Additional tickets may be accumulated by making purchases at the galleries.
Walking maps are free, and are available at the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as participating local galleries.

Though a completely different genre from the Art Walk, the cars and motorcycles on display at Odawa Casino's weekly car and motorcycle show are works of art in their own right. Odawa Casino hosts this free event every Thursday from 5-8 p.m., thru August 31st, so take the automobile enthusiast in your life to see some rare beauties at this Petoskey entertainment venue.
