Northern Michigan Events: Donate gently used and unwanted professional clothes to the first-ever Dress for Success Event, and help members in our community get the jobs they deserve.
Students from the Professional Communication Business 231 class at Northwestern Michigan College are collecting professional clothing donations until March 23 for the first ever Dress for Success event.
Aimed at helping Northern Michigan's community members better prepare for job interviews and work, Dress for Success will distribute all professional clothing collected at its inaugral event on April 21 from 10:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. in the Welcome Center of NMC's main campus. Dress for Success is for everyone and anyone, and will provide job hunting services such as mock interviews and resume critiques in addition to the clothing distribution.
Dress for Success needs clothing for males and females of all ages and sizes, including: dress pants, dresses, blouses, ties, shoes, jackets, dress shirts; anything that would be appropriate for an interview and a workplace setting. So if you or anyone you know has unwanted, gently used professional clothing, please visit the drop-off locations listed below by March 23rd.
