Last year's Red Hot Best Of contest was flooded with over 8,000 nominations as people voted in the 100 Best Of categories on MyNorth.com, the online home of Traverse, Northern Michigan's Magazine. Votes were tallied, winners announced, and the best of everything Northern Michigan was celebrated at the contest's culminating party — the Red Hot Best Bash held at Turtle Creek Casino in Traverse City. It was such a blast, we're doing it all over again this year.
