Northern Michigan Events: Run, bike and paddle your way to victory during the 2012 M-22 Challenge, scheduled for Saturday, June 9th at 8am. Registration opens on March 1st at 8am, and is $99 per person. Note: Registration is closed for the event. You may still participate as a volunteer.
The M-22 Challenge is a multi-sport event consisting of running, biking and kayaking along a 22-mile course set in beautiful Northern Michigan. The event is appropriate for anyone of average physical capabilities, from first-time racers to seasoned triathletes. Challenge yourself to this friendly competition and be rewarded with a day filled with camaraderie and breathtaking vistas. Make M-22 your summer goal!

New for 2012 is the M-22 Kids Challenge to Benefit Carter’s Kids. The M-22 Kids Challenge will begin at 1pm on June 9th, immediately following the M-22 Challenge Awards Ceremony and will consist of a run, bike and dune climb for two age divisions, ages 8-11 and ages 12-15. Registration for the M-22 Kids Challenge also opens March 1st at 8am, and is $40 per child. Proceeds from the ”The M-22 Kids Challenge to Benefit Carter’s Kids” go to Carter’s Kids (a 501(c)(3) organization).
