Traverse City Events: Traverse, Northern Michigan's Magazine was at it again this fall, offering more amazing contests with prizes that ranged from luxurious to entertaining. Entries flooded in as the rain fell this damp autumnal season, but for three lucky contest winners, the sun is now shining (metaphorically speaking, that is).
Salon Giveaway
Lillyjade Salon, the recent and luxurious addition to The Homestead in Glen Arbor, teamed up with Traverse Magazine to offer one lucky and soon-to-be-pampered local two $150 gift certificates, valid for any of the salon's treatments.
And the winner is… Christina Siler of Traverse City! So many indulgences await Christina at Lillyjade's full-service salon, including manicures, pedicures, hair cutting and stylings… what will she do with her prize? Hear it from Christina! Fall Entertainment Package
What do you get when four Northern Michigan entertainment venues join together for Traverse Magazine's Fall Entertainment Package? Tickets and tickets galore! Interlochen Center for the Arts, Crooked Tree Arts Center, Dennos Museum/Milliken Auditorium and the City Opera House helped spread art appreciation throughout the community, contributing to two generous prize packages filled with ticket pairs to events and shows for the Fall/Winter/Spring arts season. Lights, curtain, drum roll please….
Grand Prize Package Winner: Kristel Comai of Traverse City Here's what she won! Three pairs of tickets to Collage, The Nutcracker Suite and West Side Story at Interlochen Center for the Arts; a pair of tickets to the Crooked Tree Arts Center's 2011-2012 Performing Arts Series in Petoskey; a year-long family membership to the Dennos Museum and two tickets to Juan Siddi Flamenco Theater Company at the Milliken Auditorium; and, two pairs of tickets to the City Opera House to see singer Nellie McKay and pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton. That ought to keep Kristel, and whoever gets the lucky second ticket, warm all winter long.
Second Place Package Winner: Carol Messner of Lake Ann They say 'second's the best,' and we have to agree.
