Northern Michigan Events: The Northern Michigan festival season is not over, there’s still plenty of fun to be had when the Traverse City Wine and Art Festival returns to the Grand Traverse Commons August 20th from 3-10 pm. Join your fellow wine/art/food enthusiasts to celebrate the wonders of Northern Michigan wine and food with dozens of wines to taste from the Leelanau Peninsula, Old Mission Peninsula, Traverse City and Benzie.
Along with local wineries, representatives from several local restaurants will be in attendance with food for purchase. And let’s not forget about the art and performances either! Guests will be entertained by Michigan’s own Shout Sister Shout, featuring performer, Rachel Davis as well as folk-rock band, Steppin’ In It.
Local area art from the region’s finest artists and artisans will be on display for show and sale as well.
