They earned a permanent place in organized labor history when they stood up for women’s rights and equal pay at a Ford Motor plant in Dagenham, England. The documentary Made in Dagenham tells their tale and showed at the 2011 Traverse City Film Festival. As a special treat, the real women of Dagenham, the women who led the labor revolt, flew to Traverse City for the festival and took some time to talk with on video with MyNorth correspondent Rebecca Reynolds, herself a filmmaker.
