Traverse City Events: Don’t be surprised if the stars AND the stripes come out when the Northwestern Michigan College Band strikes up the patriotic marches of John Phillip Sousa at these four outdoor concerts in Traverse City. Expect traditional favorites including "The Stars and Stripes Forever" and "Semper Fidelis," the official march of the U.S. Marine Corps. Pack a picnic and your lawn chair for a love-your-country fest.
