On the Rocks is the newest addition to the Jewelry market of downtown Traverse City. Spencer and Jesse Shattuck as well as Gary and Kathy Wilson, who are residents of Traverse City and own On the Rocks, incorporate native minerals, stones and gems like the Petoskey stone and Leland Blue. Grand Traverse Resort and Casinos Store 300 East Front Street, Traverse CityThe Grand Traverse Resort and Casinos now has a downtown Traverse City location. The storefront offers a display of the resort’s many amenities available for guests including Dylan’s Candy Bar, golf apparel, spa and wedding displays, a casino corner and a cooking demonstration area highlighting dishes from the Resort’s Aerie restaurant. The downtown Traverse City location is also a destination for the daily shuttle that takes guests to and from the Resort to the downtown area. It runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.  231.534.6721.

9 Bean Rows Artisan Bakery and Café 439 East Front Street, Traverse City
Fresh baked bread and pastries fill baskets and displays at 9 Bean Rows Bakery and Café in downtown Traverse City. Owners Jen and Nic Welty use fresh and local ingredients, many of which come from their farm, 9 Bean Rows Artisan Farm, in Northport, Michigan. The bakery is currently open 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Café opens in mid June, and hours for the artisan eatery will extend until 3:00 p.m.
