This Petoskey-area restaurant deal is fabulous all year, but if you’re looking for an excuse to celebrate this month, there’s always the advent of spring. Saturday evenings at this Northern Michigan restaurant, Sage chef Rob Sargent oversees the pairing of an herbed butter-roasted lobster tail and a five-ounce filet (hormone and antibiotic free, oh yes). Chef poises the lobster in an apple wood-smoked bacon relish; the filet wears a red wine reduction. Upscale comes-with’s include garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, linen tablecloths and candlelight—all for $34.
